It's not that great, but I was quite proud of it. Think the makeup needs some work more than anything

It's not terribly easy using yourself as a model. Definitely need to find me a willing victim! Still, I thought I did quite well getting the sun on the pupil and what not.

Crit welcome.

Used a converter and a close focus lens. I forget their exact specs.

Corrections on contrast and a few clones to remove mess from the makeup done in PS.

This was also my March 5th photograph.

Nice reflection and good focus on the pupil - just wish a little more of the eye was in focus.

Agree with Patrick about having more eye in focus, go for a higher f value, you should gain a bit more focus field. That being said, this is GREAT!!!!!!!

The thing reflecting in the eye is just a decorative disk thing, of the sun, it's silver and gold and has sparkles on it

I like the focus since it concentrates directly to the title, and personally wouldn't want the whole photo in focus...I think it would lack statement then.

I like it, there are so many eye shots this one has a different twist and not cliche.
