Description
From August 21st 2007:I bought my mister and I some flowers the other day, to commemorate ten months of being together, and my birthday. One of them was this gorgeous sunflower.
I wanted to make some photographs of the flowers, but didn't want them to be your standard flower photographs and so decided to play on an idea I've used before - using a single light, some incence and a subject. Thus, my "sunburn" concept is brought to life.
I need a better light I think, but have chosen to share my favourite photographs from the shoot. Feedback welcome. I changed lenses a few times and lost track of which ones I was using. Widest aperture and a sort of medium shutter speed were used.
I had a great time making these and I hope you enjoy them too!
Also available on my dA and flickr.

I'm not sure if my cloning skills are good enough to get rid of that leaf and account for the smoke that goes in front of it, but I do agree it would look more surreal suspended in space.
Thank you guys!
